| Rick Russell has lived in Southwest Florida almost exclusively since
1976. He was building outdoor furniture and replicas of Titanic Deck Chairs
when he purchased a Jet 12" lathe as a diversion from all the sawing &
routing that accompanies furniture building.
Rick quickly became "hooked" on turning, and now utilizes a 24" Powermatic lathe, turning primarily large pieces made from the wonderful variety of tropical hardwoods available in Southwest Florida. His work is on display at the Edison Museum in Ft. Myers, Florida, and he will soon be hitting the Art Show circuit with Lynn, his wife of 26 years & an award winning mixed media artist. |
